A Blogging Announcement

It’s okay, nobody panic, I’m not going anywhere.

But I’ve noticed in the last couple weeks that I’m feeling a bit… thin on the ground for ideas when it comes to blogging.

Earlier in the year, I frequently had a dozen or so blog posts queued up and ready to go. Now, sometimes I’m rushing to get one done on the day.

Until the last few days, though, I usually found I had an idea to write about as soon as I sat down.

This last week, I’ve sat down and drawn a blank.

This might be because I had that awful cold a week ago (which I’m still recovering from). It pushed all my work back, and now I’m busier than ever.

I also have a few things coming up which will take up more time. And of course, I’m fighting to keep my head above the parapet as we all are, while 2020 hurls cannonballs of stress our way seemingly every day. (I certainly didn’t see ‘Trump gets COVID’ as the next plot twist, did you?)

All this to say, I’m stepping back a bit. I’m going to be blogging once a week instead, on Wednesdays. This will let me write better blog posts, and start to build up some of that blogging energy again.

(I’m still doing my newsletter every two weeks, where you get to hear the inside goss on my daily life and my writing progress. So head on over there if you’re interested in that more personal stuff.)

See you on Wednesday, and take care. ❤

  1. 🙂 I publish content on my blog weekly (In my case, it is done on Saturdays).

Updating your blog weekly is not a bad thing because it provides the blogger with way more time to produce quality content.

Do enjoy the rest of your day!
